This is the first video for his song Best I Ever Had off his mixtape 'So Far Gone'. The song itself is #3 on the Billboard Top 100 which is unheard of for a mixtape song.

I didn't enjoy the video. It had nooo plot. I was disappointed. & Kanye West directed it?! I'm very disappointed in the both of them. I expected wayy better. The song itself is tiring now. The radio plays it more than anything. Now every time I hear the song, the video pops up in my head lol! like smh. It's basura (garbage).

Book Review: Midnight by Sister Souljah

wow its finally July. 1st. This means I need to get my ass on the roll with school. crap! anyways ...

So i'm here reading up on this book that I borrowed it from my future mommy-in-law called Midnight. It's the sequel to Sister Souljah's 'The Coldest Winter Ever' I anticipated this book for the illest minute!!!!!!!! & there was a freaking waiting list at the library & I was like ughh! But I still signed up for it.

The book has 498 pages. & from the first page your hooked! lol! But I have the book since like may & I have yet to finish it. :/ My future mommy-in-law didn't really want to read it since it's about the muslim religion (which really isn't. just part of it. But it's Midnight's life story. so obviously the muslim religion will be presented in the book). Anyways, the book so far is freaking good!!! Midnight falls in love with this japanese girl. Shes gorgeous! But I wont give away to much on the book. I rather let yall read it & give your opinions. If you have read it, let me know what you thought on it :)

I'm just disappointed because I thought the book would be about Winter & whats come about her since the first book. I just didn't see why Souljah stated it was the sequel. :/ But give me ya'll opinions. please :)

American Apparel

American Apparel has a "deals" sale. I wouldn't necessarily buy some of the stuff on sale, but some things I would :)



Yesterday though, I went to AA in soho with hubby & I was looking for the purple fleece hoodie that's $42. When I found it, I grabbed an xxs! lol! & it actually fit me! I loved the way it fit! it ws tight & fitting. I loved it! & it ws super warm lol! It's a bit pricey, but I recommend it to anyone who wants a good hoodie that wont fade, or even shrink.



My boyfriend LOVES! & I mean LOVES!!!! this store lol! I love their leggings & cardigans. Once I get my job, I will be shopping in there. At first I was a bit skeptical about it lol! But I grew into it! So look into that if you want something different :) & also their styles never go out of style or season. That same hoodie, I saw it a year ago lol! So, it's gonna be there today, tomorrow, next week, next month, & next year lmaoo!

Coach's Newest Collection

So Coach has a new collection!! It's called Poppy lol! The name is cute. The Collection is even cuter! :) In the August issue of Teen Vogue, there was a section for a bag from the Poppy Collection. I fell in love when I saw it & its only $198!! I checked on the Coach Website & there's 3 colors. Red (the one featured in Teen Vogue), black, & purple. Loved the purple one!! So ladies get yours. I def will get mine! lol!

Then there's another one that's black & has COACH in sparkles. I love it!! BUT it's $548. lol!!



But in the Poppy Collection, some of the bags look like Balenciaga bags. Like a total cheap rip-off of Balenciaga. & its like eww. I love Balenciaga though! But I don't need a replica of it from another top fashion brand. That's yuck. All in all, I love it. But some of the bags were hideous 2. lol!

Another bag I liked. It's $268. Not to bad. lol!

R.I.P to a legend.

At around 5:40pm, I was on myspace, about to sign off & head to the store when all of a sudden I saw on the status' R.I.P Michael Jackson. I thought it was a joke when one girl said google fox 5 & see for yourself. I did so & as confirmed, MJ had died. & then there was speculations he had a heart attack & he's in coma. & then around 6:30 it was official. LA Times & CNN declared him dead. :'( ...

MJ you will 4ever be in our hearts. May God take you upon him and cherish you. Rest In Perfect Paradise.



I remember the first time I heard MJ. I had to be 4 or 5. & the 'Thriller' vid came on. Of course I was scared of the damn zombies lol! but the song & dancing made me crazy lol! then I heard billie jean & fell in love. My "brother" would always play MJ songs. Especially 'Beat It' & 'Bad'. :) (sigh) Though we may have joked about MJ. Said the worst, We still acknowledge him as been the greatest. Thank you MJ. Because without you, music wouldn't be shit & dancing wouldn't have a step to it.

ok so this is for all the make-up artists out there. I NEED YOUR HELP! I want to know what is the best make-up to use for my complexion & skin? my skin type is kinda of dry. & my complexion, well you can see it here. I want to know what are the right colors for my complexion?

I want to do a smoky eye effect, but since I'am a bit dark, I'm sure it won't compliment my eyes. I love my eyes & I want to work on them more. I love eyeliner, mascara & eyeshadow lol! But I also want to try a foundation. Nothing that will cake up my skin because remember I have dry skin & that stuff can get flaky & crusty & just plain nasty lol! & I also want to try blush.

My new reason to watch youtube vids!!

Last night, around 2am, I was up & couldnt sleep. (as usual). & I happened to be on YouTube. I don't come across this site unless I want to listen to a song, catch up on music vids or watch scott b :) (he's fabulous darling). So, I was on the site & there was a section & the title of the section was Videos Being Watched now. & This vid popped up saying How To Make Your Eyes Big. & I was interested because I love make-up & I learning how to really use it.


MakeUpGeek Creator, Marlena, is brillant for this. She knows her stuff!! I also watched her video on how to exfoliate your lips. I have eczema on my lips which means I have really dry lips & they always get chappy & dry. especially when I kiss my boyfriend or after I eat & drink. It sucks. So enjoy the videos. Food for Thought ...

Anybody who knows me, knows I love to eat. I love to eat more then I love to cook. =D yes sir!! So this is just a restaurant review. My boyfriend, took me to this Chinese restaurant out in Connecticut like last month, called P.F. Chang's China Bistro. The food was so delish I took it home lol! (well I took it home cause I was full & they give you a lot of food). So since me & my boyfriend don't eat pork or any type of shellfish (shrimp, crab, lobster. etc.) because it is said in the bible we should not eat it. Plus pork is disgusting to eat since pigs have no sweat glands.

Anyways moving on lol! (I ramble a lot). I ordered the Sesame Chicken with brown rice & my boyfriend ordered the Chicken with Black Bean Sauce with white rice. Both we're absolutely delicious! My chicken was real crispy. But not crispy to the point you couldn't bite or chew. & My boyfriends boneless chicken was just soo tender & juicy. This place had the greatest food ever.


What I ordered from P.F. Chang's. I didn't take this pic, I googled it lol! Original. It's fairly big. but you really see how good it looks.

I wish there was one in NYC. I would rather eat that then go to the local shot up chinese place with the plasti glass wall thing up. (fuck the ghetto lol!) I recommend this restaurant to anybody. If your in Connecticut, tell whoever your with, to take you. It's in the mall in Stamford. But if your not in or close to CT, theres a few locations. Check the website out & see for yourself :)

Service was great! The servers were soo welcoming & friendly. You will love this place! The setting is pleasant. Not loud & you feel at ease you know? Overall I give this restaurant 4/4 hearts :) It's not even pricey. We had split the bill & all I placed was a $20 bill & I still got change back. So if you want to enjoy a good meal with your friends, family, or significant other, I consider P.F. Chang's.

H&M, Jimmy Choo

so word on the street is that H&M has collaborated with Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon. exciting much?!! H&M plans to launch a new line of women & men shoes & as well as handbangs with the founder. The designs are planned to drop November, 14 2009 in around 200 stores! so get your money up & save it! lol! I know iam!

But what are your opinions on the new Matthew Willamson designs that were launched last month?! I personally dislike the designs. I over-all think H&M is looking cheap as shit though! 'cuse my french but i'm oh so serious. Like I think since the recession hit, they've been coming out with ugly ass clothes. (even though i did cop me a coat last december lmaoo!). but thats besides the point. It looks cheap! Like forever21 is now stepping they game up. lol! pathetic!

So I just finished watching Hawthrone on TNT. Jada Pinkett Smith is a lovely actress. This is my favorite show along with Royal Pains. Sure we got Grey's Anatomy & ER & House, but I like these shows better :) I'm sure people will really get into them. Here's a little about the show ...

Pinkett Smith plays Christina Hawthorne, a compassionate and headstrong Chief Nursing Officer heading up a group of dedicated nurses at Richmond Trinity Hospital who spend long days and nights on the hospital’s front lines. Hawthorne is the kind of nurse you want on your side when you or someone you love is in the hospital. She is the kind of nurse who fights for her patients and doesn’t let them slip through the cracks. When necessary, she takes on doctors and administrators who are overworked, distracted or just unable to see the human being behind the hospital chart.

Whether showing humanity to a homeless woman, trying to talk a suicidal cancer patient off a ledge or exposing a doctor’s near-fatal error, Hawthorne will do everything in her power to help her patients. When a patient’s care is at risk, she doesn’t hesitate to violate protocol, defend her staff or stand up to administrators who seem to have forgotten a hospital’s true purpose.

But the long days at the hospital and Hawthorne’s intense focus on helping others take a toll on her personal life. its a really good show. I was really tuned in. Jada's character is very heartwarming, kind, & she's a person of need. I've found my new fave show for tuesday nights! <33 The show comes on every tuesday night @ 9pm. :) tune in ya'll!
